Reading Football Club — Shipping Policy

This shipping policy explains how orders from the Reading Football Club online store are processed, dispatched and delivered.


1. Delivery & shipping overview

All online orders are shipped via our third‑party logistics partner Mission Logix. For more information about our fulfilment partner, visit www.missionlogix.com. The only exception to this is for In Store Click & Collect orders which are fulfilled directly by Reading Football Club.

We aim to get your Reading FC merchandise to you quickly and safely. This policy covers processing times, dispatch cutoffs, carriers, international shipments, tracking, returns, and how to contact us if something goes wrong.


2. Order processing and personalised items

·         Orders placed before 1:00pm Monday to Friday will be processed and shipped the same day, subject to stock availability.

·         Orders placed after on weekends or on Bank Holidays will be processed on the next working day.

·         Personalised items, including printed shirts and any product that requires bespoke printing or customisation, require additional handling time. Please allow an additional 5 working days for personalised items to be processed and despatched.

Important: Selecting Next Day Delivery at checkout for personalised items does not shorten the production time. The additional 5 working days for processing still apply before your order is dispatched


 

3. UK delivery

We offer the following UK delivery options at checkout:

·         Royal Mail Standard Tracked 48 (standard tracked delivery)

·         DPD Express Next Day Delivery (next working day)

Please note deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and UK Offshore Islands do not qualify for Next Day Delivery; the shipping options and estimated times for those postcodes will be shown at checkout.

You will be presented with available shipping options and prices at checkout based on your delivery address.


4. International shipping, duties and taxes

All international shipments from the Reading Football Club online store are sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). That means duties, taxes and import tariffs are calculated during checkout and paid before the order is dispatched so there are no surprise charges on delivery.

Rates for duties and taxes are set by the receiving country and are outside of our control, but we do ensure they are handled upfront for a seamless experience.

International orders are shipped via FedEx. Both standard and express FedEx shipping options are available at checkout where applicable.


5. Returns and international returns

Domestic UK returns are handled via Royal Mail in accordance with our Returns Policy. International returns are sent via your local postal service or carrier as described in the Returns Policy. For full details, please see our Returns Policy here


6. Tracking your order

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking page. To track a delivery, follow the tracking link provided in that dispatch email.

Please note we are unable to investigate delivery issues while an order is still within the carrier’s expected shipping window. If an order is outside the expected shipping window or marked delivered but you have not received it, contact us at fanstore@readingfc.co.uk in the first instance.


7. Failed deliveries and returns to sender

If the courier attempts delivery and no one is available to accept a parcel, they will follow their standard missed delivery process (safe place, neighbour, local depot collection or a reattempt). If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable (for example incorrect address, uncollected parcel or refused delivery), we will contact you and offer either:

·         Reshipment at the customer’s expense, or

·         A refund less original shipping and any return costs.

To avoid failed deliveries, please double check your shipping address at checkout.


8. Lost, damaged or incorrect items

If your order is lost in transit, shows as delivered but you have not received it, arrives damaged or contains incorrect items, please contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date at fanstore@readingfc.co.uk Include your order number and any relevant photos. We will investigate with the carrier and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or issue a refund.

Claims for damaged items may require photographic evidence and in some cases the return of the damaged goods before a refund or replacement is issued.


9. Pre‑orders, backorders and split shipments

·         Items marked as Pre‑order will be dispatched once stock arrives. Pre‑order dispatch estimates are displayed on the product page.

·         If an order contains items with different availability dates we may ship available items first and the rest as a second shipment. You will not be charged for standard split shipments unless you selected a paid express service for the second parcel.


10. Click & Collect

In Store Click & Collect is available as an alternative to courier delivery. Click & Collect orders are not fulfilled by Mission Logix and must be collected from the store collection point stated at checkout. Collection details, opening hours and proof of identity required will be displayed during checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation email.


11. Service disruptions

Delivery times may be affected by public health measures, severe weather, strikes or large‑scale carrier disruptions. We will work with our carriers to minimise disruption and will update customers if there are major delays.

13. FAQ (shipping highlights)

How long will my order take to arrive?
Processing usually takes until 1:00pm on the next working day and personalised items need an additional 5 working days. Delivery time depends on the shipping option you choose at checkout.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Contact us immediately at fanstore@readingfc.co.uk. If the order has not been dispatched we may be able to change the address. If it has already been shipped you may need to contact the courier directly.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipments are sent DDP via FedEx and duties/taxes are paid at checkout.
